The National AIDS Conference (NAC), co-organized by Government and NGOs will be held on September 10 - 12, 2008. It is expected that various institutions including government institutions, NGOs, civil societies, private institutions, and donors working on the response to HIV/AIDS and human rights in Cambodia will get involved in order to disseminate the best practices, lesson learned and good experiences and collected information.
The National AIDS Conference (NAC) needs 50 volunteers in order to assist in facilitating during the conference at Chaktomouk Theatre, Phnom Penh City.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend the training which organized by Volunteer Coordinator;
- Participate regularly with working group;
- Work full-time during the National AIDS Conference;
- Clearly understand their duties assigned by the coordinator;
- Guide people or visitors concerning conference room and others;
- Have daily meeting after the completion of each session;
- Assist in problem solving which may occur accordingly;
- Attend all sessions of the event; and
- Report to team leader.
Requirements
- Be university students or NGO volunteers;
- Be 18 – 25 years old;
- Have good, honest, gentle, and friendly attitude;
- Have good communication;
- Be able to participate in the whole event;
- Be good as part of team; and
- The ability of speaking English is an asset;
